I rented this movie to watch with my girlfriend. First of all this movie came highly recommended from the people i met in Paris. A delightful comedy romance film which can be counted as an art film beautifully produce in the heart of Paris. In this show you will be able to see the many places of attraction in Paris like the Notre Dame, Paris subways and metro and the restaurant duex moulin (2 windmill) which became famous because of the movie, just to name a few.

What i am most impress was the picture of the film which really brings out the nostalgic feeling of Paris and the daring and different take into romance the french style. No doubt the movie immediately bring me to view the little miracles of everyday life.

Because life just does not revolve around the individual but is interconnected to everyone. It also show how everyone is unique and different in their own way and sometimes maybe just maybe a little act of kindness can just make the world so much more beautiful than it already is.

The best part of the film could be the way the romance is portrayed. Romance in Paris could show that the people in paris are actually shy people when come to love even though it is open in their sexuality. This film show case the sweet and somewhat unqiue romance of the french culture.

The good:

- beautiful shot landscape

- daring new approaches to the romance genre

The bad:

- some of the film left me and girlfriend in doubt

Watch this movie with dear... hmm at first i had really mixed feelings when watching this movie. Maybe thinking it might just be another children show or maybe it may not be that impressive as Toy story 2 was not that impressive.

Hmm but i was definitely proven wrong. Not only was the movie funny it even made me tear twice in the whole show. Basically the story prove to be the finale of this franchise. With touching moments and comedy as well this movie is certainly one of the better movie i have watched in the month =).

The good:

- catch buzz turn into spanish buzz!

-new romance!

-stay tune to the finale where the toys were throw into the furnace and where the toys were finally apart from the Andy

The bad:

- many characters were taken out fast even b4 the show started

-buzz role was somewhat less important than previous shows

Overall: 4.5/5

Movie - Away We go

wah super long time never blog le... but hehz just saw this rilly awesome movie that i just have to blog about... yup the movie is called away we go which tells the story of a young couple and their journey towards finding a suitable place to build a family...

It is actually a comedy film, and throughout the film u are just gg to have a hearty good laugh to see how the couple manage to stay close, despite the various problems faced by the young couple, mostly their doubts to build a good family for the soon to be born daughter as they see the many problems a family faced in their journey.

All in all its a heart warming film, showing how maybe things shld just be simple... where life is much more simpler back to basic and the happiness we alwaes wanted is just right around us... truly one of the best films i ever watched...

sadly the film is so very under rated that the whole cinema has only just 6 people including me and dear... hmm so whoever is reading this now please u gotta watch this movie showing at cathay picture house or you are really missing out one of the best film ever.

The good:

- they comedy is awesome and the acting by the 2 main lead was just so natural and they both look so good together.

-nicely film which for some reason make the every scene so unqiue and special!

The bad:

none!

All the major exam are over... the sem end exam as well as the my JLPT 3... yup have not get back my result yet but hope i did not bad =).

Wah b4 i blog about the whole camp i blog about post camp first...

remember going to bed and wake up to feel abit emo... (haha dun get me wrong, the camp was loads of fun) maybe a habit ba hahha.

Anyway yah dunno y but the person i turn to was Brenda... so kinda tok to her abit then turn out to chat about daily lives and catch up hahahaz... well it so long le since we met and yeah feel nice to tok to people u nv keep in contact for so long hahaha cuz feel like we are toking for the first time again haha yeah...

Hmm dear manage to get the tickets for harry potter thru buying 13.50 worth of Cadbury Chocolates. Yeah quite good deal la then on the day we went for the movie, they gave us goodie bags (unexpected haha) which inside contain more choc -_-"... piang cadbury like running choc charity lidat... but shld see dear getting so excited... hahaha

Haha the movie is good, it so good tt a 2 hr show made me feel like 1 hr had oni juz pass... so meaning it a good movie... unlike other long movie which i just wish the show to quickly end so i can get out of the cinema haha... In the movie super farnie la dear scream in the cinema (the oni one) hahah and the whole cinema laff like crazy hahaha. Super throw face... =P

The good:

- Now at least Malfoy get more screen time and i must admit his acting is better so much more than Harry, which i think was quite plastic thru out the show.

-loads of funny bits make the show enjoyable

the bad:

- a few parts in the show was poorly connected making the movie weird at some point in time.

- the link to the half blood prince was poorly carried out

hehx tired sia... rushing from place to place. hehx the long train ride... sianx.

aniwae todae attend Ivy birthday party haha. yeah the girl's 21 le haha so will i be in the next week -_-''... hiaz nv see her for so long but she still's the same =). yeah except less violent haha since her bf juz next to her haha. her bf abit shy shy de like me like tt haha guess we can be gd pals man.

hehx cant believe the long wk end is over just like tt. hiaz but also didnt rilly rest well over the wk end... hmm almost got sick too... headache and flu but luckily nv out break into fever.

Now tt swine flu thing is going around... guess it better to start taking care of myself to better immune the body ba. hehx this goes for everyone too. Hehx but just cant find the time to...

Well at least i did a number of things for the past 3 days. Go out to shop at Tampines One (twice...), buy a shirt, spend time with frenz, finish up my jap hw yup. so i guess the long wk end is used up effectively? ba...

heh anyway friday i went out with ethan and jacksen... and i rilly got the shock of my life. the way ethan dress up when he go out. whao i regret not taking photo sia. Actually it not because it bad looking, in fact the way he can match the clothes is nice. But the shorts he's wearing is abit the short ah... first time saw him tot he's wearing boxer man... but must sae he is daring ba in fashion sense... haha tt wat i admire about him ba =).

heh we went to tamp one and i bought a blue shirt from G2000. think it look rilly nice. thanks to ethan for the recommendation. shall post it some time soon when i got the time ba.

hehx overall is was quite fun because ethan rilly noe alot about fashion sense. while me and jacksen like didi following kor kor walking around like tt haha.

hmm then sunday went to tamp one again with jc fren to buy bdae present... haha yeah yie jiat return liao haha from his lone trip to Australia haha and i must sae he rilly got guts man. hehx yeah did alot pof catching up with each other haha so fun. hmm 4 guys 1 gal... hehx poor si min =P. yeah but rilly enjoy their company like know each other for yrs like tt.

hehx yesterday working zouk was quite interesting.

Saw this guy with his girlfriend. Wah never knew girls look so pretty with specs.

haha all in a day's work. tired...

Anyway i received the letter from NTU le. got into biological science. Yeah damn happy man haha phew at least can relax a bit le after the pass 1 mth of worrying... haha rilly tot this year sure cannot make it again le. -_-. yeah wanna celebrate but knew some of my frenz habent got letter yet... so hold off the celebration for now ba =) and rilly hope they get into something.

MOVIE - Handsome Suit

hehx watch this last sunday with my gay buds... hmm hey we can haf new title le la, call movie buds, alwae go out watch movie haha... hiaz bong pang seh... kinda sad... sorry la but i dun want to watch shinjuku incident. Firstly not a fan of Jackie Chan, secondly i feel it contain racial discrimination.

hehx aniwae watch the movie super lame sia haha,b4 the show even start the film break down haha.. then got ah beng in the cinema kao bei haha.. then end of the show got this stupid voice recording apologizing for the techinical fault. haha damn funny la cuz so lame. We alr forgot bout the fault le then the voice have to bring it up...

Aniwae the movie is super nice... although i not very sure y the life! oni gave it 1 and half star... well but seriously it rilly the type of movie where u come out nd everything feels good again. so go try it ba =).

hmm the movie depict just how shallow people are, but i guess in truth, the world will nv turn out what the movie portray... tt y many people want to escpe from society ba... hehx

- the girl acting as Rikka was really awesome to portay as the ice queen.

Self bake tiramisu

Hmm last Saturday went to bake the tiramisu that i learnt 1 month ago using the recipe... hmm yup it turns out the way u see it haha. not bad lah for first try. shows the recipe tt i learn actually work ba.

Anyway baking is hard work k... preparation itself can spend a an hour somemore need to shop for indregients... it also requires lots of patience and the right timing and speed when u do the whisking. The amount of each indregient use is also very important. So technique plays alot too. haha tt y baking is like art like tt. Really respect those chefs tt know how to do pastry until so nice.

haha it edible la, try one for myself also and actually turn out ok. =) hehx big accomplishment k then later bring to zouk for all the staff i know to try. muhahahaz my guinea pigs... k la, some say not sweet or too soft.. hmm well maybe the gelatine did not add enough ba... haha k must try harder for the next round.

Anyway the reason y i want to venture into baking is also because of beard papa... hmm cuz like maybe i feel happy when i go to their store and see their pastry ba, so wanna try making tt happiness =).

Hmm anyway want to try to bake something else, hmm haha c how ba.

MOVIE - Detroit Metal City

Hehx went to watch this show cuz was kinda depress because of saturday work ba and yeah after the show i was all right again hehx cause rilly, the show kinda make me laff my problems away haha yup i rilly recommend this show to anyone who just want to stick to comedy...

but then it NC16 for it Coarse Language so yah the show might be alittle offending, but hey just take it lightly and rilly it juz a fun comedy to watch.

hehx yeah think i sure go buy the DVD when it come out.

The Good:
- had the whole cinema laughing for at least half of the show

- the person playing negishi is also the one playing L, haha think he got talent for anime roles

- like the part where he nv fails to scare the little girl esp at the window there... hehx the little girl so innocent and cute ahaha then negishi juz haf give her nightmare...

The bad:
- hmm if i mus sae, think not rilly, though bong sae there is no storyline...

hmm last saturday went out with my gay buddies to watch the show i always wanted, detroid metal city hehx... guess i always get what i alwaes wanted in the end man hahaha... and the show is good k bong, so stop denying tt i recommend u all a good show k! haha bong was going kill! kill! kill! kill! (Sir Kauser music lyics, yap beta believe it haha) even outside the cinema.

yah kinda haf to leave straight away after tt to dinner with my parents and my poi poi and gong gong haha. yah i still calling them tt since young. hehx yah but this time i treating cuz yah now i earn my first pay so tot i treat my family for dinner and to thank my family for their support over the last year. hehx aniwae i'm also happy to see my grand parents so happy to know their grandson is bringing them out to eat haha. yeah nv c them for a long time le haha. feel quite guilty bout it.

aniwae i haf been thinking tt maybe it time to start counting my blessing le. Really wan to thank whoever is watching over me for this past months. Yeah i am truly happy for these past months to whoever you are, and i'm grateful. hehx because seriously loads of nice things haf happen to me yup, thinking back about last year was a nightmare truly the lowest point in my life. So haf to stay happy alwae for the yrs to come to make up for it.

Aniwae today work was fun =) yeah everything was so smooth, haha met this rilly friendly ang moh lady who was ok la, jus abit touchy, well so i guess some ang moh are really ok haha. hahaz i hope so =).

hehx currently working for Singtel is super sianz man... facing the screen doing the same waviering over and over again for the people haha... piang then got some ppl 1 cent also wanna wavie... haha kk but seriously the oni motivation there is the riduculously good pay...

MOVIE - Watchmen

hehx went to watch it wif gay buds, hmm dun rilly have high expectation of the show initially because i tot it's just another one of those super heroes movie tt ended up saving the world and a chim sentence to add some philosophy to the movie...

WAH but was i wrong man... in the end the whole movie turn out so diff from what i had initally expected man... totally so diff la, some of my fren didnt get the show, but those tt appreciate it like moi i would sae this is a great movie ;).

The Good:
- refreshing storyline tt will get make people look at the diff sides of super heroes... super heroes are indeed still humans...

-3 hrs of pure entertainment man wooh

- supreme visual and effect... refering to the blue guy LOLZ

The Bad:
- hmm lack of diversity of super powers? because all their power is like just super human strength haha...

overall: 4.5/5

heh saturday i went back to c Mr Koh haha kinda like go visit the old guy for a while haha... still no change man hehe only the belly get bigger... haha piangz my eyes look damn small lah... must result of not sleeping enough... yup tt Mr Koh for those still wondering hu he is =).

hehx saw his batch of students doing the prac... haha yeah no more prac for me loH!!! lol haha... work hard guys haha jiang fong liang hua.

too bad edward and kent not there... haha miss ya study buddies!

hehx anyway after tt went to NUS open house with Si Min and Si Ting (her sis) haha... piang rilly too alike alr... haha wish i had taken a pic of them 2 and post haha.

Yeah we went for the admission talk and yup kinda like get ourself prepared for wat to come... hehx ani congrats to Si Min for doing well in poly man... wish we could make it to the course we want in uni =). haha went to walk around the booth and ask loads of qns... haha mostly is i ask wan la haha and poor si min haf to wait for me =). haha

aniwae saw the min cut off pt for Science... paing damn diff to get in la... the min is BBB and tt the 90th percentile. the 10th percentile is like AAA? piang means i barely make it... hiaaz if i get in i will be competeing with these triple A MONSTERS ARRRGGHHH.... hahaha k la... hu noes i may become smarter in uni haha cheyyyy....

hehx yup uni quite fun la seriously... they got SEP, hostel... yup then some more if i go in can c kian eng and si min haha then we will be faulty mate liao haha.

hehx long time nv blog le... hehx working at Singtel seen like a mth pass by man... hehx rilly haf no time for myself... now it either working at Singtel, or Zouk or Ikoma or trying to squeeze more time for sleep... sianz rilly deprive of sleep... guess i rilly turning no life liao... well at least i am the one tt chose this path... so no regrets huh.? haha i am being an ass to myself.

anyway now more and more people are using face book liao, hehx so guess its time to start touching it again although not much interest in it well but guess bo bian... submitting to a invisible force call peer pressure.

hehx anyway today went with my Dragon Boat friends to Zheng Fa to eat haha... hehx long time nv go out with them like 2 yrs le i think... haha went there first person i saw was yuan hui haha... piang he got so thin man its scary. man where is the cute yuan yuan i use to noe man.? haha well but he is much fitter so it ok... hmm ok lah at first go there the whole atmosphere was abit weird but later on it turns out.

hmm everyone walking down diff path now... each got their own goal set out for them... hmm back at tpjc, all we noe is we haf to go to NTU or NUS and not anything else. but now, only a handful of us actually make it to there... tt y i hate JC... we are all lost sheeps if we dun go into the course or uni we want... sometime i rillu ask myself... my 2 yrs in TPJC... besides making friends there... what else have i actually achieve there... triple Cs? i guess loads of TPJC studentz my batch and duno how many other batches haf the same thinking as me ba...

hehx finally receive my A level result le... got ABB and a D7 for GP. to me, it is considered very good le for me.

hehx thinking back on all those days of studying... the struggle between army and studying... the late night sleep and the sacrifies i have made just to obtain more time to study. The darkest part of my life and now it is finally over.

Really can't believe how i can take all those stress back in the days... but i believe i can make it through, I must really thank some special people who helped me out along the way.

Thanks to Seow Tian for your notes and the kind understanding you given me. i know i ask alot from you even i feel the pain le but yup thanks for being so reliable and sorry if was overly reliant =), oh yah thanks for being my Math tutor too, you and shing him, and really hope i can meet up with u some day to properly thank you.

BAKING - Tiramisu

Heh went to Phoon Huat today to learn how to Bake the Tiramisu... kinda weird at first there cause most are aunties but they were very friendly and some of them also very cute want to keep me as god son haha.

yup this is my first time learning how to bake so i'm just going to give it a try and c how it turns out... aniwae this is taught to me by Chef Steven from Phoon Huat yup... a rilly good chef i come to admire. hmm the outcome was ok la. not bad for first try so yah lor but tt was under Steven coaching so shouldnt be tt bad de.

hehx so i tot of writing the steps and receipe down so i can refer to it in future and maybe those reading may want to give it a try =). haha 90% chance of success de haha.

There are 3 parts to baking Tiramisu...

the first part is the Sponge finger...

- 5 egg white & egg yolk
- Caster Sugar 120gm
- Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon
- plain flour 100gm
- corn flour 25gm

1. whisk the egg white and caster suger to snow.

2. Pour in the egg yolk with vanilla essence and whisk again at a lower speed.

3. pour in the corn flour and plain flour and stir or fold it in one direction. and you will get the sponge.

4. using a 11mm nosel pipe the sponge on the baking tray. First make a rectangular sponge base then later make finger like sponge.

5. sprinkle some icing sugar on the sponge. (this is for the crispiness of the sponge when baking)

6. then put in oven to bake at 200 degree cleius for 15 - 20 minutes.

Second part is the coffee syrup

-brown sugar 50gm
- nescafe powder 10gm
- coffee emulco 1tsp
-10 gm of italian expresso coffee (can be found in NTUC) and 250ml water

put all the ingredient except coffee emulco in and boil. Wait for it to cool then add coffee emulco.

3rd part also the hard part is the Cheese Cream

-Caster Sugar 75gm
-Nescafe podwer 4 and a half tsp
-150ml Kahlau OR 2 table spoon of coffee emulco and 150ml water OR 20ml of Tiramisu compound and 20ml of Moccha compound and 90ml of water.
- 18gm gelatine powder with 54ml of water
- 4-5 egg yolk
- Mascarpone Cheese 375gm
- Whipping Cream 375gm

1. Boil the caster sugar together with nescafer powder abd coffee Kahlau until the sugar melt. then add in the gelatine and egg yolk and stir till cool. (add the gelatine only when the thing is more of less cool off to prevent harden bits of gelatine from forming.)

2. take out the mascarpone cheese and whipping cream and leave for it to soften

3. then add in the mascarpone cheese and whipping cream together and mix.

Making the tiramisu.

1. set the sponge base in a hollow squae tin and brush the top with coffee syrup.

2. pour in a thin layer of Cheese Cream b4 adding the Sponge fingers.

3. brush the sponge finger with coffee syrup then put in the fridge to cool for 30min.

4. take out and add another layer of cheese cream and put in the fridge till it harden.

5. after which you and a layer of icing sugar then a layer of cocoa powder.

And Voila the Tiramise =).

COCKTAIL - Kamikaze / Kamikaze Blue

Ingredients for Kamikaze Blue is Vodka, Blue Curacao (Blue Orange Liquer) and dash of lime juice...

Best Served in Shot Glass.

hmm the drink is rumored to originate from Japan after World War II during the American Occupation. At this Yosuka Bar in Tokyo... Kamikaze is it like a Lime Vodka only higher alcoholic %. Haha

What is shown on the pic is the Blue Kamikaze... but the original Kamikaze is pale green in colour

hehx after went back to my old neighbourhood to visit where i stay for most of my childhood... yeah plan was to find a job (cuz i wanna relieve my memories) at a nursery i use to be in, called mini world child care and development centre... haha but then sian... go there and found tt the old wooden house with 2 storey is GONE!!!! hiaz tt the best place and memories of my child hood... hiaz... rilly wanna take a pic of tt wooden house de sobz...

lots of things were gone... the childcare centre... the soccer field or even the badminton court... hehx and they were replace...

i went back to my old apartment and find tt the door is still the same with the same lion head... after all these years its still there... man feel like meet an old fren man...

hehx but going back there just walking around is always nostalgic for me... dunno y but all the stupid memories of me as a little brat is all there... hehx even though the place has undergone a 180 degree change le... but still walking on the same ground still make me feel homely... although i m the only one relieving the memories...

this desert is rilly super nice... consisting of 3 layer... the vanilla ice cream... lychee mousse and tart... but the most delicious part is the lychee mousse because it is infuse with lychee liquor and even haf bits of lychee in it... so it rilly super nice la... the vanilla ice cream goes well with it but it not anithing spectacular unless they top with lychee ice cream instead...

but overall it really is still very good although i will say its a bit over price for such a small portion... haha oh well.. must treat myself good once in awhile so heck care la... haha but for lychee fans and rich tai tais out there should go gif it a try =)...

MOVIE - K-20

haha watch tt during the pasta outing.. hmm its about 2 hrs long and i will say the film is not bad at... considering my friends dun rilly watch Japan movies and they were super foreign to this film... but in the end they still find it not bad so yup overall the film was good =)

haha and Johnathan and his onlygayshimasu wat the... haha well the film do remind us of our work place SOP which was quite funny hahaha...

The Bad

- there were some part tt really showed no link and appear from no where...
- the first part was abit boring but it got more interesting as the show goes by
- the original k-20 was misleading to be a good guy or a bad one...

The good

- lots of funny moments esp the suaning part rilly ultimate man...
-haha the twist was alrite although i manage to guess it =)
-Matsu Takako old le but still so chio... then got one part rilly nose bleed haha... watch le then u will understand
- overall all the cast were good... Takeshi Kenshiro dun need to sae la... haha k i being bias towards him...=P

hehx today was fun =)... as in seriously... glad tt everyone enjoy today hehx...

haha aniway today outing was a get together... after some of us quit Waraku. yeah like was fun wif you guys working together =) although it's oni for 1 month... aniwae i'm rilly glad you all can make it today...

aniwae we started by watching k-20 haha... haha yeah the show was quite good...

then after tt we went to the glass house to eat... haha then saw this girl tt rilly look like kelly... haha got her to take photo for us...

haha got to take pic with shuai ge Lawrence my supervisior... yeah he's a really a good manager... can tell from how many people rilly miss him as next week is his last week... ar the flash light make our face look very oily... =(

beginning of a new chapter...

hehz piang eh i now doing this post at mac cause it the only place in pasir ris with internet connection... hiaz... any way this week was super busy hehx... was hardly at home this whole wk because of work... (missing my bed) so dun rilly have time to blog... hehx luckily it coming to the end of the week le so yup can relax abit...

hehx aniwae this week was the last wk i work at Mr Curry... hehx yup saying so long of quitting i finally quit liao... hehx... working there had been fun la.. but the feeling started to wane after the first month... but still i rilly learn learn alot and meet new people there... so it has still been an enriching experience all the same...

hmm y i want to quit is because everyone i work with no longer there... and the feeling of working there has start to disappear... lastly i think its time for me to move on to other things in life... sadly although i work at Mr Curry the longest however i feel more closer to Pasta... maybe becuase tt where i started? hmm hehx but i still love the people there at Mr Curry la...

wanna take this opporunity to thank the people there for taking care of me there like Lawrence my yan dao supervisior... Jacy the one always feed me with food... Aaron my AM who help me alot but for some reason we cant get along and other fellow part timers who either quit b4 me or habent quit yet...

MOVIE - Valkyrie

Went to watch this show during Valentine day... hehx not rilly a Valentine day movie but wat the heck... watching with a grp of gays so doesnt rilly matter... the movie was ok... not too bad but not a action flick like some will think it is because the whole show is a scheming movie something like infernal affairs... yup so it alot more talking and building up suspense...

The Good

- rilly love the way the movie manage to build up so much suspense in the movie

-if the whole movie is rilly base on a true story... then i must say they rilly done a lot of research into making the movie cause the whole story looks very detailed

-although the whole movie is about conversation... the director is still able to build up so many climax tt capture our attention throughout the whole movie... not draggy at all so quite a feat... compared to some movie red something...

The Bad

- tom cruise dun rilly fit inside the movie... because look to american liao to be a german...

- the whole movie is in English... duh a hollywood movie... but it would be better if the movie is in german with eng sub to rilly get into story... because it sounds rilly weird for the germans... esp true story... maybe like passion of the christ where they use the original language.

- the way tom cruise act like too cocky to be real in some part...

yeah remembered tt time i was envying one of my friend still schooling then having classing outing... makes me feel so old cause the last class outing was so long ago man while i was still schooling... now i no long have a class liao... hiaz then kinda miss the days of attending class..

The cocktail itself is layered... made by the technique of buliding where by the liquer is poured gently over a underside of a tea spoon... layers are obtain by the different density of the liquer...

B-52 taste super sweet la so although taste nice after first shot... subsequence shots will become very bland le... but whatever it is just thinking of drinking a cocktail named after a war machine kinda turn me off inside le. Not my fav...

The Bad:

-too much time travel left some of my friends tt watch super confuse... but i manage to understand it haha prove i'm smart? haha

The Good:

-many funny moment and super comical acting leave me with a good impression of this film

actually this blog suppose to be on last Sunday de haha... but just no time to blog...

yup went to my JC teacher house for a CNY visiting... ok and she is pregnant now... with a baby girl call Gillian... and her son is now 3 year old le... whao time flies man... her kid so big le whoo and can tok liao... erh ok ok i noe tt's obvious but 'm still amaze can...

hehz at first was very strange when go her house cause everyone so long nv c each other liao... yeah but ok la everyone still the same... the pair still so lame and sacarstic haha... OKE still so thoughtful... Si Min still the same shy shy want... yup ok la but guess the one with the most changes is Jie Ning ba... uni life and a bf... she becoming more mature liao... hmm but also getting thinner liao.. hiaz eat more k...

hiaz everytime we went to her house sure watch dvd one... dunno y maybe because her husband collects loads of dvd? rem we watch battle royale... passion of the christ... whao all the gore flick... but this year not so bad la we watch Cyborg She... yah shall blog about it later... it came out last year but nv get to watch it...

heh Working at zouk starting to take its toil on mi... reach home every day at 6am... but in the end only can sleep up to 10am because of my body natural alarm clock -_-... whao 4 hrs of sleep seriously not alot... hope there is some sort of pills u can take tt makes you sleep 8 hrs straight and wake up haha... or those spaceship capsule tt allow you to sleep for a year whooo... Yeah today super bo liao so just wanna blog about my manager at Zouk Velvet... First of all she is like the perfect person on earth la... she's gorgeous, know how to dress, smart and friendly at the same time... and she definitely know how to get along with people... she is like the super role model man... IN other words super GODLY like whao totally in a different level... haha and her smile think can kill any guys out there...

Reunion dinner at Pasta de Waraku

Yesterday was Chinese New Year eve but yeah i was working at Mr Curry...hmm i think i must be crazy man... for the past 2 days i slept less than 6 hours in total... finish work then have to rush to another work... and now i make myself all sick and tired... such a relieve it all over now -_-"... hope it wun dampen the festive spirit man...

Anyway work at Mr Curry was like so dead man... the flu is killing me lah + the lack of sleep... but luckily there were not as much customer yesterday so still managble. hehz atmosphere working there getting more and more moody... really miss the days where we just started working and everyone were so lively... by the way get to try Deep Fried Salmon Cheese tt day haha... heavenly sia...

yeh work ended super early... got release at 10pm then follow Johnathan down to pasta de Waraku to help out in closing... haha feels like returing home man... though started out there for half month but still... really bring back loads of memories... =) (feeling regretful to say that memories is a pain now). yeah then after work, Ah Fai cooked up the left over for the whole staff to eat while Lolita brought Otah and veg... there were people from Waraku, Pasta and Mr Curry so really feel like eating a reunion dinner although its left over... haha feel like a big happy family =).

Really wanted tt moment to last forever... if my work place can stay like this... i dun mind staying there to work even though the pay kinda suck haha... really very touch and warmth sia... haha emotional liao...

Although never get to eat reunion dinner wih my family (super guilty.. really love my family alot) but eating with my fellow working mates make up for the empty feeling inside... hehx wun forget this special day... too bad never take picture haha.

Any really regret not able to eat with my mum... haha promise i will make up to her the next morning maybe give her some hugs and kisses haha... yeah i'm a real mummy boy haha... love her to bits...

MOVIE - Red Cliff 2

went to watch Red Cliff 2 on sunday during one of the gay outings... First of all the movie is 2hr and 30 mins long...

The Bad:

Lin Chi Ling acting still very average where sometimes her expression looks too weird for the scene.

The whole movie is just very draggy. my god its 2 hrs and 30 minutes and throughout the whole movie i only remember flames after flames -_-"... basically dun watch it during midnight show cuz u sure to fall asleep de.

took to long to reach a climax... where there is only one during the last fight... (flames after flames)

The good:

Well at least got some touching part which kinda move me to tears... heh but what the heck i get emotional easily...

at various scene the movie like to reuse scene form infernal affair where the two main characters talk face to face instead this time Tony Leung is talking to Takashi Kaneshiro instead of Andy Lau haha...

2hr 30 mins hmm maybe make your money worth?

Overall:

the movie still not so bad lah but yah feel kinda like watching for the sake of watching after a while... becoz you watch the first one le. By the way the first one is better haha.

Shopping with my my gay bud

kinda slow start to the day... heh but i mean dun u just like the feeling when you can like just take your own sweet time to everything... yeah 3 days of no work rilly feels great man whoop...

hehx anyway today went out with Jason a.k.a Berok to bugis to kinda do some new year shopping... yeah sounds kinda gay with 2 guys going shopping hai but what the heck... its fun k just to hang out with someone where you can just talk haha...

hmm but i'm kinda worried bout Berok cuz he rilly seem to emo quite alot these days... i mean what with the staying up through the nights till 5am?? man i worrying too much about other people these days...

hehz went to bugis junction and was rilly just trying clothes after clothes on... heh saw this gotham t shirt and DC shop and immed caught my eye... yeah it was not bad and only cost $19 haha... so well wat the heck juzt buy (haha god i purchase stuff too easily).

Hmm had a hard time finding a shirt for berok... but when we actually found one... it cost a friggging $60 hiaz sianz... well after tt we never rilly buy anything le... hmm another wasted trip... (the trip was suppose to make berok buy something). Well at least we did spend quality time together. it been so hard for us to meet up nowadays... hiaz not like sec school. k shit i'm 20 le, stop thinking of gg back being a brainless teen, got to grow up...

A New Start

Well this post i must say is long overdue... Well it was suppose to start immediately after my As but i kinda let it drag on. Anyway 2008 for me was the most unbearable year. Army, A level, breaking up with my ex of 2 and a half year and etc. I just been through the worst phase of my life... Well at least now i came out stronger, heh guess now i am able to take on anything thrown to me... haha i sound like a person full of unfortunate events.

Well for those out there tt feel life really got no meaning, or whatever you do just going fail in the end... it time to listen to music, maybe emo a little bit then get your ass ot there to find your new start. As they say life is full of mysteries. You just need to be brave enough to step out of your shell to discover it.

Well till today from 2009 i can say so far everything been working for me summarising what happen so far... Firstly i pass my BTT whoo on the first try yup.

HEhx got accepted to work at ZOUK, ( shall post some of the interesting things in future posts) which was really a great honour to me at least haha. Made some new friends part timers mostly poly students. Shall work hard towards my goal as a Bartender.

Then i got a last place into Ikoma language school (hehx learning Japanese basic all over again for the third time -_-", well maybe cause i need to brush up on some fundamental but really hope the teacher will go faster).

Another thing is i figure out my new music interest for jazz. Currently listening to artist like Olivia Ong, Corrine Bailey Rae, Norah Jones and The Brillant Green. All now my favourite artist.

Lastly got to like this girl which i now know for 1 month + le. but it complicated now haha...

Anyway now my life isnt so bad as it was last year. Now its either working, studying, hanging out with my gay buds or just playing the PS 2. Not bad a life at least my shedule is pack and every week is something new =). So yup tt the new start for me working towards a totally new life style and trying to lead a new start...

Anyway to those reading my blog out there... every week i will try to introduce something new. Maybe you know it le or you dont... maybe a new movie, fashion, music, alcohol, game, food and etc... this just to share with you guys my experience and info that you guys may have interest in. so yup basically hope you guys like what i will post. =D

Happiness

I came home on Sunday morning 2am feeling a tinge of happiness welling within me. Its been a long week and i had spend the entire Saturday night doing my part time job as a demolition specialist. Stepping into my humble 5 room flat i cannot help but feel the relieve and familiar comfortable feeling in this walls i call home. The things making me feel this way could be my bed, my laptop, food and etc... but the most important thing must be the faces of my family members, yeah even my brothers that still have their faces stuck in the computer screen and the thought of seeing my girlfriend later in the morning.

Today, i came across this article in the Sunday times "I so want to be happy" written by Sumiko Tan. In it i was all bout happiness and her personal views on the topic. When i read it, i can't help but have the nostalgic feeling that i had for the earlier morning.

One of the ways in determining happiness is mainly due to 50% genes and 10-15% social and outside influence. This may very well mean that whether a person is happy or not is most of the time is up to the individual make up. Some people are easily happy and contend while other people tend to be more pessimistic in nature and most of the time scowl. Well this maybe proven true however i tend to think there might be other better ways we can determine true happiness.

First of all i think we all agree that happiness cannot be measured by the amount of wealth and material riches one person have. Because being humans we can never be satisfy with our wants, we can never be contended with what we have and are always seeking more and better things. Some people say that they are happy and content when they have money, but look around you and you will find not all the rich and famous lead happy lives. Maybe the way to true happiness is to appreciate what you already have and counting your blessings but the way I see it, this is true, however, how many people can really say that they have enough, especially since we are living in a modern society where everything is so competitive.

"Happiness is not something you can feel every moment of the day.

Happiness come in small doses, so just be grateful for that.

This is one of the paragraph written in the article i written earlier, reading this I cant help but feel perhaps this is then the true face of happiness.

One can never be happy all the time as happiness come and return in smaller doses each time. Take for example my favorite drink, matcha (Japanese green tea), the rich and assorted taste of tea powder that really melts u away. Every time when i get to go to a Japanese restaurant, i never fail to order one of these ecstasy. there was one day where i feel exceptionally greedy and i ordered two cups of matcha. The result was the first cup was all so delicious and i was happy, however when it come to the second, i feel like my face will turn green like the drink if I continue to drink.

In our lives, there are always ups and downs, u get sad, but that's the time where u have to stay optimistic about it and bounce back to find back happiness. However if you are always on cloud 9, u start to get numb and bored, that is where the feeling of happiness start to fade away and sometimes even give way to anxiety and doubt.

People seek happiness all the time, in the process, u might make yourself more unhappy instead, however don't you think that it is through all the unhappiness that u experience that u learn to appreciate and be grateful, then when u find the happiness u seek, u find yourself gaining something else and that is the true happiness.

To all those who think that life's a bitch. Happiness is just round the corner =).
